This was from a new LJ account, except I was having a lot of issues with the user panel controls (there were many glitches when accessing the site with Opera). In any case, that’s pretty much the reason for the switch.I’ve suddenly found myself with a surprising amount of free time on my hands and a computer which can’t run anything decent without the fan giving itself a hernia (I have a dual core too! 2.66 GHz).
Without anything better to do with my time, I decided to revive my old LJ account, only to find that I had deleted it out of frustration a year ago. At least I can take consolation in the fact that I only posted three times. Anyway, the last “formal” blog/journal/website I maintained was one for an anthropology project around two years ago, and that lasted a grand total of one month. Coincidentally, that account has also disappeared.
I’m hoping that I’ll actually stick with this. (Maybe update once a week depending on my schedule.) Well, nothing in earnest until that new laptop arrives in three weeks, and I get my webcam and headset, and a new phone, and…
