4th Round – Brain Food

If you missed it, #2 and #3 were posted together here. Congrats to Llora-chan (again) and samosa who got #2 and #3 respectively. So much for slacking off today. Again, I’m dating this with tomorrow’s date. Disregard the datestamp WordPress attaches to this, but do not overlook the cake. I just woke up from a nap.

#4 – July 17th, 2008

During World War II, several British naval spies on the lookout for enemy ships and activities, posed as Canadian lobster fishermen. They had large numbers of plastic, orange-coloured lobsters made for their covert operations. These lobsters came in various sizes with all the authentic markings. At night, the spies loaded the lobsters into traps and threw them overboard. At daybreak, they would hoist the traps aboard the ship. The locals spotted them as fraudulent fishermen from quite a distance. How were they so easily detected?

  1. If this takes any sort of marine-biological or historical reference to figure out, I’m lost.

They were stupid enough not to be in Canada?

  2. There’s a very tiny smiling face on the right side of this blog.

As for the answer to your question: don’t lobsters only turn orange when cooked?

  3. This question discriminates against those who do not consume lobster!

  4. Sorry, I have no idea about War stuff, and anything relating to that will shut my brain entirely lols

  5. All the questions require some attention to detail, and on occasion out-of-the-box thinking. Nothing needs higher education to answer.

Yeah, the creepy smiley is there until I decide to pay to edit the code and get rid of it in the template. But we all know I’m not going to pay.

Also, even those who are vegetarian must have seen Red Lobster commercials. And live lobsters.

You should venture a guess sometime, blissmo. =(
