About Me:
I go by the alias dingsan (the suffix san is there because some jerk stole ding). I write from Toronto, home of the ineffectual Maple Leafs and Raptors. I’m a night owl (even though I like to sleep at 11), so I become more coherent as the day progresses. This is a heads-up of sorts, since posts I make in the morning tend to raise questions about my state of mind. I also prefer wit over other types of humour.
About This Site:
This site is a collage of my viewpoints on various hobbies, interests, and events. Whatever piques my interest will receive some sort of acknowledgement here. A better way of putting things would be: this is just a place for me to muse about certain things and to poke/prod/pry at others.
The name of this site is actually an offhand expression from a friend of mine. We were on the bus and she needed to get off, so I was told to “ding the dinger.” Coincidentally, my nickname is Ding.
History:
I started this site as a “productive” way to spend my time during the summer, between job hunting and letting my mind rot through the usual methods. However, it was neglected rather quickly, and then forsaken for another site. Lucikly, the second site was forgotten equally fast, and I returned. Best analogy ever: one night stand.
