At A Glance – Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu

PhotobucketA cute story about a ditsy rich girl (Nogizaka Haruka) who happens to be a big anime fan. Hapless hero and all-round good guy Ayase Yuuto stumbles upon this secret, and promises to keep it a secret, which causes friendship and (eventual) romance to blossom between the two. Also, a word of thanks to Fuyu for bringing this to my attention, since I definitely would have skipped out on something that looked this cutsy.

At A Glance – Natsume Yuujin-chou

Natsume Takashi is plagued, or gifted (if you’re a glass-is-half-full person), with the ability to see spirits. He inherits the Book of Friends (Yuujinchou) from his deceased grandmother, Natsume Reiko, which gives the holder control over the spirits whose names are written in the book. Takashi tries to return the names to their rightful owners with the help of a spirit cat.

At A Glance – Strike Witches

GONZO’s at it again. I should just end it here, but that would be passing up an opportunity to examine an anime which tries to play on every known otaku fetish. I’ve got this tagged with mecha musume, lolicon, fanservice, girls with guns, magical girls, and furries. And the rather redundant “waste of space.” I should also state right now that I’ve only streamed the second trailer online.

At A Glance – Zero no Tsukaima 3rd Season

It’s finally here! Princess no Rondo, the third installment in J.C. Staff’s popular Zero no Tsukaima franchise, saw its premiere on Sunday. Picking up immediately after Season 2 (Zero no Tsukaima: Futatsuki no Kishi) left off, we are once again plunged into Saito and Louise’s world of love, magic, and comedic anarchy. Here is a glance at this third season in terms of what’s good, what needs work, and what’s hopefully to come.
